Three of Us

Author Kip Moore turned his son Chance’s near-death experience into a career of food safety advocacy culminating in the publication of his first book, Second Chance: The Story of a Father’s Faith, a Mother’s Strength, and a Child’s Will to Live, scheduled for a January 2010 release.

Kip has partnered with 1st District Congresswoman Diana DeGette to strengthen U.S. laws governing the oversight of our food system. He has also collaborated with the organization Safe Tables Our Priority to bring issues of food-borne disease to the forefront of the public’s consciousness.

Would you recognize symptoms of a food-borne illness?

Your readers need this vital information about E. coli O157:H7.

Second Chance, a new book coming January 2010, tells the story of an 18-month-old boy, Chance, who becomes critically ill after eating tainted beef. What happens next is an inspiring true story of a child’s will to live. Author Kip Moore discusses this urgent topic covered on Larry King Live last month and provides important details about food-borne illnesses from which many children have died.
